Editorial quality

Editorial standards

How we handle repetitive topics, product neutrality, food safety, updates and advertising.

1. Consolidate repetitive topics

We prefer one thorough guide over many near-duplicate “best tools” articles. Old useful URLs are redirected to the closest replacement.

2. Brand-neutral by default

Material properties and tool functions matter more than product hype. We do not rank products unless a page is explicitly researched for that purpose.

3. Food safety comes from primary sources

Temperature, cross-contamination and storage guidance is anchored to current FDA, USDA or FoodSafety.gov material rather than copied from unsourced recipe sites.

4. Avoid unsafe overreach

We do not publish knife-selection/sharpening tutorials or improvisational repair advice for powered or heated equipment.

5. Corrections

Documentable factual corrections can be submitted through the limited contact channel.

6. Advertising independence

Advertisers do not choose our conclusions, and a displayed cookware or appliance ad is not an endorsement.
